Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

We have had a lovely two weeks with Humpty Dumpty as our Nursery Rhyme and looking at the colour pink this week has been lots of fun. We will continue investigating colours weekly until Christmas. Our new water tray and mud kitchen bench are proving very popular and as you know we are outside in all weathers so please do ensure names are written in any hats, scarves and gloves that you are sending in to school.

We are starting preparations for Christmas which is exciting and this year the majority of the children in Bumblebee Class are going to be in the EYFS 'The Easy Peasey Nativity' which you are of course welcome to attend. Letters are in book bags today with more information on. Any questions please ask a member of the Bumblebee team. 

We would be really grateful if you could send a named carrier bag in to school please so that the Christmas crafts that we make can be sent home altogether at the end of the term. Bags can be sent in from next week. 

The photo above shows the tree that we have decorated with the baubles we have made - it is part of the Christmas Tree Festival at All Saint's Church, we will be taking the children to see the trees in Church and it is also open to the public if you would like to see our tree and all of the other lovingly decorated trees.
