Seal Class28 November 2025 (by schoollogin) |
Yesterday, as part of their learning in history, the Seals went to see some of the locations that are closely linked to the Great Flood of Driffield in 1910. We visited areas that we have photos for so we could compare how Driffield looked then to now. This included standing on the church steps and walking along Exchange Street. We followed the Beck through parts of Driffield, saw the sign for Providence Place where, tragically, a baby died in the flood. Finally, our tour finished with viewing the commemorative plaque on Cass Hall. All the Seals were brimming with questions and represented school beautifully; well-done, Seals.
