Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

We have had a delightful week in The Hive this week. The children have relished the opportunity to express their creativity through painting pictures of themselves using a variety of paint colours!

Looking ahead, some of the children will be visiting The Methodist Church next week on Wednesday. We will be taking part in various craft and small world activities, along with exploring the sensory tent and equipment. Thank you so much for returning the permission slips for local outings; if you have not yet returned it please do so on Monday. 

We have a trip planned to Elmswell Farm soon! More information will follow.

The children have been thoroughly enjoying our Messy Maths sessions; it’s fantastic to see their enthusiasm as they explore numbers and concepts through fun, hands-on activities. Some of the children have been enjoying their time in Starfish Class for story sessions, where they are captivated by tales and storytelling by Mrs Jackson!

Some of the children continue to explore the EYFS Unit, delving into the various resources and activities we have available. It’s great to see their curiosity and excitement in every corner of our learning environment.

As we wrap up another fantastic week, I encourage you to share any special moments or achievements of your children via Tapestry. It’s always lovely to see what they are up to at home and share in their experiences.
