Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

This week the Seals have started their topic work about our local area. In geography, they will be learning about what sort of town Driffield is and what sort of facilities it has. In art, they will be looking at the work of Hockney and trying to recreate some of his famous landscapes of the surrounding area. In this photo, as part of our computing curriculum, we have started to think about what technology is. Here, we were looking for examples of technology around the classroom (things that are man-made and can help us do a job). Our focus book is 'Where Are you Blue Kangaroo?' by Emma Chichester Clark. We are using it to help us think about our own  precious things and to develop some well constructed sentences.
