Week 5 complete! 

Thank you to all the adults who attended our final Stay and Play of the year! The children get so excited to play alongside their adults. It was great to celebrate the year and look back on all of the photos and memories. 

This week, our focus has been rockets! We watched a video of a rocket launch and it blew their mind how powerful they are! Next week, the children will have a go at building their own rocket using different materials. In preparation, the children have completed a plan this week, drawing a sketch of what they want their rocket to look like and they wrote a list of the equipment they will need in order to construct their model. Our book this week has been 'Whatever Next!' by Jill Murphy- the children have really enjoyed this story, and have been doing some great predicting- trying to anticipate what will happen next in the story. 

Next Monday (7th) is the EYFS school disco! It is also non uniform day. Therefore, you will not need to bring additional 'disco clothes' for your child. We will keep the children in the same outfit all day. We ask for a donation for our Summer Fair raffle. 

Next Friday (11th) is our whole school Summer Fair. It will start at 2:30pm and the raffle will be called at the end at 3:45pm. You will be able to collect your child at 2:20pm on Friday.
All Badgers children will exit via the Hedgehogs front garden. Please ensure you pick your child up from the front entrance on Friday.
