Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

What a lovely week we've had! It’s been delightful to enjoy the warm weather, and we even had the paddling pool out for some splashing fun. The children (and grown ups)  had a wonderful time!

We’ve also been busy preparing our craft entries for the Driffield Show. We are excited for you to see the creepy crawlies we’ve made; be sure to look out for them if you're going along! Please remember to complete the Forms link emailed to you to say if your child will be in school that day or at the show. 

Just a quick reminder that Monday is a non-uniform day. It would be great if the children could bring along a prize for our Summer Fair—sweets, toiletries, bottles, anything fun that we can use for our stalls would be much appreciated!

In class, we’ve all been getting creative with cardboard boxes, building our very own houses. I must say, I was really impressed with how some of the children showed real perseverance and precision during this activity. The houses will be coming home with the children today, and I can’t wait to hear what you all think of their fantastic creations!

I can hardly believe we are already approaching the end of term so quickly.

I know we will make the most of these last few weeks together!
