What a wonderful week we've had together! We've been soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the different outdoor areas we have, especially in our water play area at the front, where the children have been having a splashing good time!

In our phonics sessions next week, we will be focusing on the cheerful nursery rhyme "One, Two, Buckle My Shoe." As always a nursery rhyme is a  lovely way for the children to engage with sounds and rhythms! Mrs Denham has been working in small groupe with some of the children on special phonics tasks, while Mrs Syrett has been taking them in to The Nest for our popular "Sensory Scent of the Day" sessions.

As always, the children have been exploring a wide range of construction toys and are thoroughly enjoying our builders’ merchant role-play area, where their towers are becoming taller!

Today was particularly lovely as we visited the farm aboard Farmer John's tractor and trailer. The children absolutely loved the experience and were happy to see some calves in the field.
