Weekly round up
Well, that's another half term that has flown by! And that a sunny one it has been.
This week we have finished looking at basic Victorian facts - clothing, jobs, transport..... we even saw a photograph of children at our school in 1900.
We have just finished fractions in maths finding a half and a quarter of a shape or quantity. We are now moving onto direction and position so get practising your left and rights over the holiday.
We have planted a broad bean seed each and we are watching them grow. We have also got an investigation ongoing as to what happens to the bean with no light or no water. Eventually we will plant our bean plants in the playground planters. In science we are studying plants so if you are out and about see how many garden flowers you can name and how many wildflowers.
Thank you to all that came to sports day - we had a great time. Remember we are back on TUESDAY 3rd June - have a lovely half term holiday.
Starfish team.
