Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

This week we have been busy learning lots of new skills! 

In English we finished reading The Tiger Child and have been looking at the different sentence types, thinking carefully about which ones to use. 

In Maths we have now looked at 1/2, 1/3 and a 1/4 fractions and can use these to find fractions of amounts. 

In DT, our new topic is food and are looking at pasta sauces. We tasted a creamy, cheesy sauce and a tangy, tomato sauce. The children thought they were yummy! We then had a skills lesson practicing our chopping and grating. I wonder if the kestrels can remember the chopping methods we used?
