Weekly round up.
Welcome back to 2025!
This term in English we are reading stories about Katie Morag who lives on a Scottish island. It will link with Geography and compass points, maps and keys. In DT we will design and construct a vehicle for Grannie Island and we will learn about wheels, chassis and axels.
Phonics next week will be :-

ph (f sound) phonics, phone, dolphin.
In maths we are introducing tens and ones so children will learn that 15 = 1 ten and 5 ones. We will be focusing on place value to 20.
