London Landmark 7 November 2024 (by schoollogin) |
The competition is open to children in all classes.
We have been really impressed with the entries we have had so far for UK Parliament Week. If your child would like to enter you still have time.
As a reminder: We are inviting children (with some help from their grown ups) to enter our design a London landmark competition in conjunction with UK Parliament Week which we celebrate as part of our PSHE curriculum. We are holding an exhibition on Monday 18th November with all of the entries on display. The work we do during that week helps the children to gain an understanding of Fundamental British Values which underpin what it means to be a citizen in Great Britain valuing our community and celebrating diversity of the UK - these values are Democracy, Rule of Law, Respect and Tolerance and Individual Liberty.
Children are welcome to make models, draw pictures or collage an entry or London landmarks or icons, it could be The London Eye, Buckingham Palace, a Crown......
You have until Wednesday 13th November to bring entries in to school. Please ensure all entries are named.
