Thank you to everyone who came to parents evening it was lovely to chat to you all about your child's progress and how they have settled in. 

It has been a very busy week with the highlight of having a walk around town looking at the different buildings and functions. We looked at old post boxes, waved at the train going to Scarborough, learnt about boot scrapers by doors and were amazed how many barber signs we saw. 

After the half term we will be studying Traditional Tales in English starting with Rapunzel. In maths we will be continuing addition within 10 and finding missing numbers and solving problems. 

In phonics these will be the diagraphs we will do each day - ir,ie,ue (yoo sound as in argue) and u (yoo sound such as unicorn) .

We hope you all have a lovely half term break. The Harvest songs will be replaced with learning Christmas songs for the Nativity  (I apologise now)
