Bumblebee Class27 September 2024 (by schoollogin) |
The Bumblebee Class have enjoyed lots of exploratory play outside this week with bubbles and paint being added to the puddles! We all put our wellies on and enjoyed some splashing around (including the grown ups!) The rain doesn't deter us - our learning outside still takes place.
We have enjoyed scooping and pouring as part of our fine motor skills work for our Physical Development when we used pasta and spaghetti and a range of tools. This weeks PE lesson in the hall was enjoyed by all - we were really impressed with some of the skills demonstrated with the hula hoops and the space hoppers, as well as the ball skills.
Our daily Wiggle me into a Squiggle sessions have been focussing on making circular movements with our arms and spinning around like a windmill! Next week out movement will be wiggling on our tummies like caterpillars - so watch out for that action at home.
If you have wellies and waterproofs for your child at home that you are happy for us to keep in school then please send them in, however we do have some spares available. Please can I remind parents that PE is on a Thursday so if your child could wear trainers that day that would be appreciated. Can you please ensure that all items of clothes that come in to school are named.
Next week we are going to visit the school library to enjoy some new books.
Have a lovely weekend.
